Roles for Social Chang Association (ADWAR) in partnership with Arab World For Research And Development (AWRAD) and Ma’an network held a meeting for women from Hebron in order to identify the most important aspects of violence in addition to offering women’s views on how to address issues of violence in the media.
ADWAR’s General Director Sahar Yousef Alkawasmeh indicated to the most important aspects of violence experienced by women whether it social, economic or political, indicating to the importance of women role in Hebron specially in Tal Armedeh and the old city.
AWRAD Director Dr. Nader Sa’eed pointed out to the target of the study and the result to achieve to understand the social reality that women in Hebron live with and taking their views and important mechanisms that should come out in order to prepare a study aims to help media and Palestinian organizations in general about how to deal with violence against women in programs and projects.
