ADWAR hosts a delegation from the British Consulate in Jerusalem to Zif Girls Basic School

ADWAR Association Representative Mrs. Sahar AlKawasmeh and Educational directorate of Yatta deputy Mr.Ibrahim Qar’eesh met a delegation from the British consulate in Jerusalem represented by Rev’d Mark Poulson, Inter Religious Affairs Secretary and Mr. Charin Singh the Visit Officer at the British Consulate in Jerusalem.

The visit aimed at viewing achievements and effect of the previous project implemented by ADWAR and partner organizations back in 2016 (Supporting gender equality regarding access to education in the south Hebron hill). In which was funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK government, in partnership with education directorate of South Hebron (Yatta), Yatta Municipality, HIRN, ACF, World Vision, in addition to the French organization CitoyenDes Rue. As they provided the caravans school to separate Zif girls in their private school. ADWAR’s role concentrated in supporting the psychosocial support room with logistics and tools as well as awareness sessions on the importance of education and dangers of inflation for girls.
