ADWAR Association with Zima Palestine implemented a seminar entitled the role of women and their social activity in protecting the national project. In cooperation with AlRamadin Bedouin local council with the presence of ADWAR Association general director Sahar AlKawasmeh , Zimam executive director Samer Makhlouf, and the social and political activist Ismail Abu Hashhash and a number of women and men from AlRamadin Bedouin community.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness of women about the social and political reality and activate their role in community development and protection of the Palestinian family and national culture.
The shadow council member Nisreen AlRamadin welcomed attendees and introduced the seminar. The political and social activist Ismail Abu Hashhash discussed several topics, most notably the historical development of Palestine through the ages, the social and political participation of women between the past and the present, in addition to the role of women in the community peace. In addition, protected from extremist thoughts, as women are essential partners in promoting the values of peace in Palestinian society, based on the fact that women’s role in the process of socialization is vital.
