Roles for Social Change Association (ADWAR) in partnership with Zimam Palestine implemented a cultural seminar entitled “The role of women and their political participation that protects the National Project”, with the presence of ADWAR general director, Sahar Alkawasmeh, the social and political activist, Ismaiel Abu-Hashhash, and the dean of students affairs, Issa AlAmleh at Palestine Technical University Kadoorie- Al-Aroub Branch.
This lecture aimed to increase the awareness of women and men students about the importance of equal participation among each other in national and local issues, through reinforcing pluralism and differences values and accepting the other regardless their sex, color, political affiliation, religion, and ideology in general. It also aimed to activate and courage university men students to support the participation of women and facilitate all the barriers that decrease their participation in general issues on both public and private levels.
