Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR continues implementing its vocational training activities entitled as “Training members of Palestinian Environment Guards Committees on recycling waste in Wadi al-Quff reserve” as a part of the project ” Palestinian Environment Guards” funded by Global Environment Facility GEF/ Small Grants Program SGP / United Nation Development Program UNDP in partnership with Environment Quality Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, Tarqumya Municipality, Beit Kahil Municipality, Tarqumya Women Charitable Associations, Tarqumya Women Club and Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit in Beit Kahil.
Group of women from Tarqumya Charitable Association & Tarqumya Women Club participated in this training under the supervision of the trainer Nizar Banat who taught them how to make aesthetic pieces from environment waste. Aims of this training are developing health and environmental conditions affected by dangerous environmental waste, it also aims to recycle waste in an aesthetic way that helps posting women’s participation in environmental and economical aspects.
