For his part, Mr. Abdel Fattah Awadat highlighted the fact that the role of women in the local sector is minimal because of the absence of a culture of volunteering. Volunteering is a way of gaining experience and reaching the highest positions and allowing them to take decision-making seats in political life. For her part, Ms. Suhaila Awadiat stressed the need to create a methodology to promote the concept of volunteering and its role in gaining experience and achieving gender development.

In conclusion, participants ensure that civil society organizations and local bodies should provide projects and initiatives aimed at empowering women and engaging them in community and political activities by granting privileges to those who volunteer continuously and whose experience is effective
