Launching the activities of the Project “Digging the voice strategy for Bedouin Women to reach for Social Justice.”

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR inaugurated the capacity building program, which is part of the project “Digging the voice strategy for Bedouin Women to reach for Social Justice” funded by the Government of Canada.
The training took place in Masafer Bani Na’im – Hebron, in the presence of the General Director of ADWAR Association Dr.Sahar Alkawasmeh and the Project Coordinator Lana AbuAjamia.
This project aims to activate the role of the Committee for the Women Protection of Bedouin committee in marginalized communities in Hebron and East Jerusalem to defend human rights and social justice in the service of marginalized women, in addition to enhancing the participation of marginalized women and girls in social and democratic life in addition to raising awareness of priority communities, Especially men regarding the participation of women and girls in democratic life, changing stereotyped roles.
The project coordinator, Lana AbuAjamia, started the capacity building program with the Women protection Committee in Msafer Bani Na’im.
For her part, the General Director Dr.Sahar Alkawasmeh said that this project is the beginning of the steps of developing knowledge and skill in gender issues and the mechanisms of negotiations in order to enable the members of the Protection Committee to continue its work in bridging the gender gaps in services.
