Dialouge Meeting with the decision makers in the Ministry of Transportation – Khan Al Ahmar / Alkasarat

ADWAR Association continues its dialogue meetings with decision-makers within the activities of the project “Digging the voice strategy for Bedouin women equal rights” funded by the Government of Canada.
In the presence of Mr. Majed Daraghmeh and Mr. Abdul Nasser Othman representatives of the Ministry of Transportation, and the project coordinator Lana Abu Ajamia, in addition to the President of women protection committee and men within the gathering.
The meeting focused on the suffering of women and girls gathering to reach other areas and neighboring areas due to the lack of vehicles to take them, and the suffering of male and female students in reaching their schools and universities, in addition to the poor transportation line in general in this region.
As a result of the meeting, the Ministry of Transportation pledged to improve the reality of services and solve the transportation problem facing women in the gathering.
