Implementation of the first phase of the project (Towards Women who lead Change)

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR inaugurated the capacity building program in Jericho Governorate in the Al Fasayil Bedouin community and Al-Dyouk Al-Fawqa, which comes within the activities of the project (Towards Women who lead change in Priority Communities and make Difference in Their Life and the Life of Others) for the third consecutive year.
This project aims to institutionalize and develop women’s protection committees in priority communities in order to hold decision-makers accountable for meeting to meet the gender based needs.
The program also targets 90 women and girls in Tubas and Jericho governorates to develop knowledge and skills in the following fields (gender, accountability mechanisms, international laws and conventions, the concept of the initiative and how to prepare it).
For her part, the General Director Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh said that this training comes as a prelude to the next phase of the project, which is to meet with influential people in the community and hold the decision-makers accountable.
