Project Women advocate against the concept of Divorced women and their isolation from civic live

General Framework
Implemented in partnership with Supreme Judicial Councilwomens organizations associations and Palestinian universities in various governorates of the West Bank, funded by Middle East Partnership Initiative MEPI. 

 Period of Time 
8/2014 – 8/2015 

 Objectives
– To enhance  divorced women in west bank about the, self-confidence esteem and the decision making skills in public ,civic life .In order to break their fears and silence to demand the divorced women rights and eliminate all forms of discrimination against them from the government organization and community.
– To Increase the divorced women participation in public ,civic life and support them to take decision making, through allowing them to meet officials from the Supreme Judicial Council and the Civil department in the Ministry of the Interior and open opportunity for them to express their feelings and hurts of addressing them (divorced ) in Palestinian authority official documents.
– To Raise the Palestinian society awareness about the importance of changing the stereotyped image of divorced woman. And confirm the social participation for them in public, civic life and decision making. 

 Target Group
Palestinian women from different governorates of the country and various ages who have experienced divorce, whether they had experienced before marriage ” engaged” or after marriage.
