Implemented in partnership with Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Women Affairs and Cooperatives Association in Bedouin community in C areas, funded by Women empowerment in decision making positions program implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development BMZ.

Objectives
– To highlight the role of Hebron women and their ability to seek and obtain high political and decision-making positions.
– To enhance women political participation and foster communication between local council’s members and decision-makers in the Palestinian ministry of local government, in order to initialize the Bedouin community on political participation for Bedouin women.
– To raise Bedouin women’s political role beside men and change the stereotyped about women duties that live in marginalized areas in order to participate in the local councils.
Target Groups
Hebron governorate including towns and villages with municipalities. Also, Bedouin communities of small villages which are located in C area Southeast of Yatta south of Hebron governorate. These small communities are (Sussya ,Twaneh, Massafer Yatta ,Om Alkhair, Khasham Aldraj, Alhathaleen, Al-Zoudeen, Alnjadah, Alka’abneh and Alfakeer).
