Project Protection of women’s legal rights

General Framework 
Implemented in partnership with Sharia courts, Palestinian universities, women’s and youth clubs and CBOs in the Hebron Governorate, funded by the Enhancement  Palestinian Justice Program EPJP. 

 Period of Time 
10/2017- 10/2018 

Objectives
– Support vulnerable women to break the barriers accessing Family Courts, in which will protect women from gender based violence and achieve gender equity through mobile family courts visits.
– To raise Hebron marginalized communities’ awareness about family court services and procedures in order to make this information available for public. 

 Target Group
The project targeted women and youth in Hebron Governorate, especially the regions of Massafir Bani Naim, Massafir Yatta, Al-Ramadin, Sa’ir, Beit Ula, Beit Kahil, Yatta, Dura, Al-Aroub Camp, Old City, and Hebron City, in addition to the various universities in the Hebron Governorate.
