Project Supporting disadvantaged Bedouin and rural women to formalize and manage income-generating businesses, in south of Hebron and East Jerusalem

General Framework
Implemented in partnership with the women members of womens protection committees in priority communities, in addition to the local and Bedouin councils, in cooperation with the chambers of commerce and industry and the Ministry of Womens Affairs, funded by the Palestinian Market Development Program PMDP and the UK Aid. 

 Period of Time 
8/2017- 8/2018 

Objectives
– Enhance  disadvantaged Bedouin and rural women capacities, whom live in marginalized and C areas regarding improvement of products quality.
– Improvement of economically disadvantaged womens situation through providing productive income generating registered projects in chambers of commerce.
– Strengthen networking and coordination mechanisms among disadvantaged Bedouin & rural women, private sector representatives, and chambers of commerce, in order to promote products. 

 Target group
The project targeted Bedouin and rural women in Bedouin and rural communities south of Hebron and East Jerusalem, classified as Area C.
