Deep Informative Joint Workshops between the Women’s Protection Committees in West Bank and the Women’s Protection Committees in Negev

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR and SIDREH Organization concluded the third phase of the project ” Our Path for Prosper Future”, which is the Deep Informative Joint Workshops between members of the Women’s Protection Committees in West Bank and Negev, which come within the activities of the project ” Our Path for Prosper Future”, in partnership SIDREH in Negev and funded by the Union European.

The workshops aimed to enhance the self-confidence of the Women’s Protection Committees in West Bank and the Negev, and to break the barrier of fear and frustration in order to build themselves and enhance their social role, in addition to exchanging experiences between the two members of the Women’s Protection Committees on basic gender needs in the field of services in order to build bridges of trust and understanding Between them to improve the reality of services in the priority communities.

The joint workshops dealt with many topics, the most important of which are enhancing self-confidence and building effective and positive dialogue with women, raising women’s needs in services and demanding women’s rights, activating the role of the women’s protection committees in serving women and girls less fortunate in priority communities and exchanging experiences between them, the most important of which is the definition of the Unified Bedouin Women Council, which will be announced in the fourth phase of the project.

These workshops achieved many important results as they worked to refine and empower the members of the protection committees to play an effective role to highlight the real needs of services in addition to how to face the obstacles and challenges that prevent the implementation of their community leadership role.
