ADWAR and Aman Coalition hold a workshop about the impact of corruption on women

ADWAR in partnership with the Coalition for Integrity and Accountability “AMAN”, held today Wednesday 22/9/2021 a workshop about the impact of corruption on women and ways to combat it and encourage reporting it.

The workshop included introducing the concept of corruption and its forms, penalties related to corruption issues, some local and international conventions, and the national integrity system. Discussions were also held with the participating women and girls about the forms of corruption they are exposed to, the mechanisms for dealing with it legally, ways to combat it and how to report it. The participants also expressed their satisfaction with this presentation. Due to its importance, the issue calls for more similar meetings in the future.
