Ending awareness meetings about corruption and its impact on women

ADWAR Association in partnership with the Integrity and Accountability Coalition “AMAN”, ended the awareness-raising meetings that were held in Hebron Governorate about corruption and its impact on women.
These meetings aimed to raise women awareness about the concepts of integrity, transparency and accountability and encourage them to report corruption To promote greater women involvement in combating it.
The meetings included discussing the concept of corruption and its forms, penalties related to corruption issues, some local and international agreements, and the national system of integrity, and discussing the participants about corruption forms they are exposed to, the mechanisms of dealing with it legally, ways to combat it and how to report it.
For her part, Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh the General Director emphasized the importance of continuing such these meetings and their importance in focusing on addressing the causes of corruption and its impact on women and young women, because women are the ones who pay the price for this corruption and prevent them from enhancing their participation in public life and occupying
