Roles For Social Change Association (ADWAR)" starts to implement their Project's “Right of Live” Activities

 In partnership with The Ministry of Education and funding by UNDP, Roles start implementing the activities of “The Right of Live" project.
 The project targeted different schools in Hebron; Widad Naser Al-Dein , Khadija Abdein; Mohammed Mohtaseb  ; Al-Hussein Bin Ali and Bin Roshd Schools. This project aimed, basically, to train a group of 20 students (males and females) in order to help them being pioneers who will be publishing cultures. Also, it aimed to make them good defenders of women's right of live as one of the human rights.
  In addition, the project came to enhance the students to transfer culture and knowledge about women's rights and violence against women to other families and students from various secondary schools in Hebron.
 The project also encouraged the trainees to enhance the decisions makers in the Ministry of Education to adopt programs that support human rights , in general, and the rights of live in particular. It aimed also to raise awareness within society about the right of life as it is one of the holy rights which all the divine religions and laws supported.
The project is implemented over six months ( September 2012 – February 2013) and  it includes a lot of activities and workshops; in addition to a final conference.
 Roles Association started today the first stage of training program with a group of female students. The program includes raising awareness about human rights , Sedaw agreement , gender concept, honor killing and how it badly affects societies and families as well. It is worth mentioning that Roles Association is going to work with  males students in the next stage of the project.
 Sahar AlKawasmeh, the general director of  Roles Association, said that " the project is very important as it targets a group of students who present the next generation".
     " This group is supposed to play an effective role to change the society's culture and do a positive job toward protecting  Palestinian women's rights as they have a prominent work in Palestinians' unity and resistance", AlKawasmeh mentioned.
