A psychological and social support session to strengthen protection mechanisms

ADWAR Association on Thursday, 12/7/2023, implemented a psychological and social support session to strengthen protection mechanisms in Marah Mualla village, south of Bethlehem. The session contributed to the emotional release and feelings of pain and anger among the participants due to the current surrounding circumstances, in addition to enhancing self-confidence. This was under the supervision of social worker Nancy Syuri.
A women’s protection committee was established with the support and assistance of Men’s Alliance members thier. The committee began its work to identify the needs of women and young women and network with institutions and decision-makers to meet their demands.
The session received support from the participants due to the psychological and social pressure they were experiencing. The participants recommended the necessity of holding other de-escalation sessions.
