Roles for social Change Association ADWAR signed a project agreement “The Role of Young Men and Women in officials’ accountability about meeting gender needs”

Roles for Social Change Association ADWAR/ Hebron, signed a project agreement entitled “The Role of Young Men and Women in officials’ accountability about meeting gender needs” in partnership with Catholic Relief Services CRS within Civic Participation Program CPP, funded by the American Agency for International Development USAID, which took place in Catholic Relief Services Bethlehem. The project aims at expansion, development and rehabilitation of youth body and enabling its monitoring and evaluation tools in decision makers’ accountability in different ministries about the level of services provided by health, education and transport. Also, it aims at enhancing the mechanics of communication, coordination and networking between different ministries of specialties and youth body, in order to upgrade joint work which guarantees development of services provided by ministries of specialties. Moreover, to influence decision makers in meeting gender needs for young men and women, people of Bedouin communities, and villages located south of Hebron (Umm alKhair, susia, Twaneh, Samou’ , Dura, and Yatta), the project contains several activities such as media episodes, meetings, encounters with officials.
For her part, general director of ADWAR Association Sahar AlKawasmeh pointed that the project will enhance the succession of previous project’s outcomes, in which will follow up with different ministries which promised to submit and enhance services presented in reality like health, education, transportation, and gender based needs.
