Roles for Social Change Association (ADWAR Association) finished a training program entitled “Towards Job Opportunities for Young Women Graduates”

As part of the economic program which aimed at highlighting women issues in economic field and upgrading the level of skills and experiences which will qualify women to participate in economic life and obtain job opportunities, Roles for Social Change Association (ADWAR Association) finished a training program entitled ” Towards Job Opportunities For Young Women Graduates”, in partnership with the Technical Education and Vocational Training Council (TVET) and  the Technical Education and Vocational Training Center in Hebron. This training program was funded by the European Union in cooperation with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) to develop the educational, technical and vocational training in Palestine.

The training program targeted a number of young female graduates from the Governorate of Hebron, who studied at different Palestinian universities and did not have the chance to improve their skills and develop their work experience to obtain job opportunities in career field. This program aimed at enabling young women graduates to obtain applicable skills. The training program also covered various topics including: The Concept of Gender, Time Management, Communication Skills, Administrative Decision-making and Team Work. The training sessions were visited by officials from Ministry of Labor such as Mr. Jawad Zablah. He praised the successful cooperation of ADWAR Association with Ministry of Labor, which resulted in successful activities and programs.

 In addition, Mrs. Sahar Alkawasmeh (General Director of ADWAR Association) indicated that the training program worked on bridging the gaps in the relationship of gender, especially the unemployment of young women graduates as statistics showed that they have the highest unemployment rate.
