Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR finished implementing the radio episodes in cooperation with Nissa’ FM in Ramallah, the last episode entitled “experiences of three Bedouin women” with the journalist Dua’ Awad and participation of the local council member Nisreen AlRamadin, Razan Nawaf, and Buthaina Nimr whom also members of the shadow council initiated by ADWAR Association.
The episode aims at highlighting Bedouin women roles in social and political lives, in addition to changing the stereotyped image of women roles.
This comes within the project (Empowering Bedouin women in decision-making and accountability within local councils) funded by the Netherland representative Office in partnership with the Bedouin Local Councils, Ministry of Local Government, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, The General Union of Palestinian Women and The Central Election Commission, and Ma’an Network.
