” Towards job opportunities for young women graduates ”

 

 In partnership with the technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVT) and the technical education and vocational training in Hebron funded by the European Union in cooperation with the GIZ

 

General framework:

ADWAR Association is working hardly to reach the social justice in a civil democratic Palestinian society that guarantees the welfare and equality for both men and women through Gender and development approaches,which reduces the gap between men and women in several fields, in addition to empowering and enhancing women’s participation through realizing their social, economic and political rights, using studied action mechanisms, through three programs; social, economic and political.

Adwar, and through the economic program is working on rising the capacity and skills of women in the economic fields, enhancing women financially to make use of available resources, take part in decision making hand-in-hand with men, and participating at workforce to limit poverty and unemployment, and lay the principal of economic justice inside and outside home, by increasing income and job opportunities. Therefor we(Roles for Social Change Association) in partnership with Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVT) and the Technical Education and vocational training center in Hebron, funded by European Union in corporation with GIZ, to participate and register in the training program that aims at contributing in capacity building for women graduates, to provide them with more job opportunities that is needed in the labor field.

 

                                                                         Time period:

The training program started on Monday 11/8/2014 until Thursday 28/8/2014. 

Training location: 

The training programs were implemented in ADWAR’s hall in Hebron city three days a week 5 hours for each day.

Targeted groups:

The training program targeted 20 young women graduates from Hebron governorate, from deferent ages with deferent specialization and from deferent locations in Hebron governorate. Trainee’s commitment was 80%.

 

 

                                                                Training objectives:

The training program aimed to:

  • Raising the awareness of 20 young women graduates about gender , communication skills , time management and administrative aspects.
  • Enable 20 graduates of the essential capacities and skills in order to help them finding jobs opportunities.
  • Contributing in providing employment opportunities for those graduates through opening channels as well as networking with various institutions
