Finishing the capacity building training program in Masafer Yatta within the project Supporting Women Protection Committee

Roles for Social Change Association implemented the training project entitled “Supporting Women Protection Committee for gender equality in humanitarian response” in partnership with UN Women. This five-day training program included the following aspects: gender roles and needs, women social, economic and political rights, gender-based violence, and women’s rights advocacy tools through international and Palestinian human laws related to gender issues.
Moreover, the general director of ADWAR, Sahar ALkawasmeh pointed out the importance of this phase, as the first phase of the project. Besides, this phase aimed to determine and address humanitarian needs, which are gender-based needs for Masafer Yatta’s women; in which these needs will be submitted, in the following phases of the project, in the form of Bill of rights to decision makers to be fulfilled.
