Roles for Social Change Association- ADWAR implemented a dialogue session with decision makers at Beit Kahel, within the project entitled (Palestinian Environment Guards) funded by
by Global Environment Facility GEF/ Small Grants Programme SGP / United Nation Development Programme UNDP. In partnership with Environment Quality Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, Tarqumia Municipality, Beit Kahel Municipality, Tarqumia Women Charitable Organization, Tarqumia Women Club, and Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit-Beit Kahel.
The session targeted (Natural Reserve Guards) (NRG) members in the presence of the general director of ADWAR, Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh, the mayor of Beit Kahel, Hassan Attawneh, and the Representative of Agriculture Ministry, Fadel Al-Mahariq.
Yet, the session aimed to have the opportunity for NRG members to accountable decision makers about the importance of implementing the laws verified by the Palestinian government, especially those of national strategy for GEF field in monitoring the cycle of wastes and the role of authorities in implementing these strategies and procedures. As well, to accurate management and recycling of wastes in order to protect the environment, besides to the role of private sector in supporting in promoting for their environmental productions.
