ADWAR has started the Capacity Building program

ADWAR has started the Capacity Building program which comes within the project entitled “Towards Women Leading Change in Priority Communities and Making a Difference in Their Lives and the Lives of Others”. the program is being implemented for the second year in a row in partnership with the local councils and media agencies and funded by the Dutch government.
this project aims to improve and start Women’s protection committees for accountability in priority areas in order to fulfill the gender-based needs and contribute to bridging gaps in these marginalized communities.
The program also targets priority groups and marginalized areas in Bethlehem and Ramallah.
Dr. Sahar Alkawasmah the general Director for ADWAR pointed out that this training is important as a first step for knowledge improvement and skill’s enhancing of the program’s fields: gender, accountability mechanisms, the concept of the initiative and how to prepare it.
Adding that this training comes in preparation for the next phase of the project which includes meeting influential people in the community and the accountability of decision-makers
