International Women’s Day Celebration- The Old City of Hebron .

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR organized a ceremony to honor the women of the old city “Jaber neighborhood” in Hebron in honor of the eighth of March “International Women’s Day”.
Under the slogan (the man is not in his words, but his actions in the protection of the rights of Palestinian women).
With a privileged presence of our women in the Old City and legal personalities from various institutions in the region, as well as journalists and Media.
Noor Almanasra the activities coordinator open the ceremony welcoming the dignitaries, and appraising the role of women and the challenges they face.
The Secretary of the Board of Directors Mr. Ashraf Amr, pointed out the role of ADWAR Association and its role in empowering women in the social, economic and political fields, and their steadfastness wherever they are and their role in supporting women in priority areas.
Mrs. Sarah Daajneh, Head of the Office of the Old City Unit in Hebron, delivered a speech of support and steadfastness to all the women of the country. She praised the organization’s efforts to reach all categories of Palestinian women.
The women of the old town had a touching word delivered by Mrs. Naifah Jaber and Mrs. Zakia Jaber, in which they explained the extent of their suffering under the circumstances surrounding them in all respects.
For her part, General Director of ADWAR Dr.Sahar Alkawasmeh addressed a letter to the women of Palestine in general and to the women of the Old City, in particular, stressing that the secret of the steadfastness and survival of the Palestinian people is what women create..
At the end of the ceremony, the women of the Old City were honored with modest gifts in recognition of their role in serving their community.
