Workshop on the Role of Civil Society in Follow-up to the Concluding Recommendations of the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) – Carmel Hotel / Ramallah

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR was invited to participate in the workshop by the General Federation of Palestinian Women, the United Nations Office for Human Rights in the Palestinian Territory and UN Women to discuss the role of civil society in the follow-up to CEDAW’s final recommendations and preparation for national consultations. On the Government’s Plan of Action ‘to discuss the future plans of civil society organizations to enhance the implementation of the recommendations of the Committee of the Convention to reach the principles of common understanding in preparation for the upcoming government consultations with civil society on the government action plan To implement the final recommendations of the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women “CEDAW”.
