Minister Musa Shukarneh meets with Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh

Meeting the Minister Musa Shukarneh with Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh, General Director of ADWAR Association at the headquarters of the Land and Water Settlement Commission, where the Minister was briefed on the reality of women in Palestinian society, especially marginalized communitites.
Alkawasmeh presented the experience of ADWAR Association and its field of work, the most important challenges and opportunities it faces in working with women and girls, in addition to how to develop effective partnership mechanisms between different institutions.
For his part, Minister Shakarnah affirmed the Authority’s openness to various national institutions aiming to assist in the settlement project, especially that this project is one of the most prominent projects that supported Palestinian women and restored their rights.
Shakarnah expressed the readiness of the settlement authority to cooperate unconditionally to participate in the implementation of dialogue meetings and accountability sessions in the marginalized priority groups.
Shukarneh praised the role of ADWAR Association in raising awareness and empowering women in Palestinian society.
