The project Implemented in partnership with Women Protection Committees and local councils in Hebron Governorate, Funded by The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women – Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF).

Period of Time
5/2020 – 4/2022

Objectives
. Empowering women’s protection committees and activating their real participation through equipping   them with knowledge and skills in Accountability mechanisms, dialogue and peaceful participation, and   national and international conventions.
. Planning effectively and respond to humanitarian crises, to ensure that the specific needs of women and   girls in conflict and post-conflict situations are met, develop programs based on gender analysis and   assess needs to effectively participate in planning and humanitarian programming for conflict resolution   by addressing social and cultural barriers to Representation and participation of women in formal and   informal peace negotiations.
. Protecting less fortunate women and girls and Strengthen accountability mechanisms to the decision   makers by ensuring the safety, and respect women human rights through measures to prevent acts of   violence and facilitate access to services for survivors of violence. and respond to conflict prevention   issues.

Target Group
The project targets women and girls in the priority communities in Hebron Governorate (Masafer Bani Na’im, Masafer Yatta and Almofakrah, Old City).
