‏Within the digital training program – ADWAR Held a training day Bethlehem municipality

Bethlehem – ADWAR Association held today, Saturday 19/12/2020, a training day for a number of women and men employees in Bethlehem municipality at the latter’s headquarters, as part of the digital training program of the project “E-Governance in Palestine and the Middle East and North Africa” ​​project funded by the German Foundation For International Cooperation (GIZ).

‏Dr. Sahar Alkawasmeh General Director of ADWAR launched the training day, stressing the great role that communication technology and digital communication represent in serving the public, and improving municipal services that express the gender needs of all segments of the people of Bethlehem, expressing hope that the training will achieve the desired results.

‏For his part, Bethlehem Municipality Director General Anton Morcos praised the importance of this type of training, as it greatly intersects with the work of municipalities, especially the Bethlehem municipality.

‏The launching of face-to-face training for the target municipalities comes as a second stage after previous meetings were held via “video conference” technology, in line with the preventive measures followed.
