Today, Wednesday, 2/3/2021, ADWAR held an effective planning meeting in Masafer Yatta Village Council, south of Hebron, and a number of influential men there, as a continuation of the activities of the project to strengthen the roles of women’s protection committees as defenders of security and peace.
The attendees discussed the best mechanisms to determine the needs of women and girls in Masafer Yatta, before coming up with a set of recommendations in this regard.
This project comes in partnership with the Red Crescent Society of the Gaza Strip and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women, and with funding from the Japanese government.
