Women Protection Committee Accountable the ministry of transportation in Twaneh

On Thursday 23/9/2021 ADWAR implements an Accountable Session with ministry of transportation , that come as a continuation of the project “Strengthening the Role of Women Protection Committee as advocates of peace and security in Priorities communities in Hebron through response to the Humanitarian Needs and Prevent Conflict” in presence of the Ministry representative, Mr. Kamel Hassouna, Director of the Road Transport Department, Mr. Mohammed Alrab’i, , the Women’s Protection Committee, and the people of the community, influential men in the region.
This accountability meetings aim to communicate with decision makers, actors, local and international institutions, and to accountable about the effective role in key interventions and decision-making to improve the services provided.
Where the issue of the lack of transportation that the community suffers from its effects on people and women in particular was raised due to the lack of transportation lines and public vehicles.
In his turn, Mr. Hassouna prepared to do what must be done in order to help achieve the demands of the Protection Committee
This project comes in partnership with Women’s Protection Committees and local councils funding from the Women’s Peace & Humanitarian Fund.
