Happy and Funny Day in Zif School for Girls

ADWAR Association implemented today, Thursday, 7/10/2021, Happy and Funny Day in Zif School for Girls in Yatta, on the occasion of the International Girl’s Day, in the eleventh of October, in the presence of the Directorate of Education of Yatta, a representative of the United Nations Fund Population and a representative of the Association planning and protecting the Palestinian family, staff and school students.

The activity aims to provide psychological and social support for girls as a result of the social, economic, political and health conditions, and to raise girls’ awareness about their rights.

The ceremony was opened by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ADWAR Association, Mr. Mahmoud Darwish, by welcoming the attendees and talking about the Association role in supporting Palestinian girls and standing by them, in addition to enhancing their role through the Association projects and activities.

For his part, Mr. Yasser Al-Saleh, Director of Education in Yatta, spoke about the importance of continuing the educational process in priority areas and the need to implement such activities, whose role is to entertain students and release negative energies due to the challenges they face.

In turn, Ms. Sahar Al-Natsheh, representative of the United Nations Population Fund, expressed her happiness to be in Zif School and get to know their needs and the extent of their support as the United Nations.

The director of the Zif Girls School welcomed the attendees with nice words, in which she expressed the situation the region is going through, including the many challenges and the extent of the girls’ love for education, and thanked all the parties that cooperated to complete this distinguished activity.

This event comes within the project “Reproducing a Culture Based on Protection and Social Justice” in partnership with the Family Planning and Protection Association and funded by the United Nations Population Fund
