“Who cares?” The way to gender equality in the humanitarian sector

ADWAR Association participated today, Tuesday, October 19, 2021, as an official spokesperson for the Middle East, at the Berlin Humanitarian Conference, organized by the German Congress, entitled “Who cares, the way to equality is a humanitarian must” to talk about its experience in humanitarian work in light of Corona pandemic and what are the challenges faces Palestinian women in general and in light of Corona pandemic in particular.

Where the representative of ADWAR Lana Abu Ajamiya expressed the importance of these international platforms to shed light on the reality and suffering of Palestinian women, especially in light of crises and post crises and in light of Corona pandemic, in addition to the role of the international community in protecting Palestinian women and their rights from occupation.

More than 185 government and civil society organizations around the world participated in the conference.
