Women Protection Committee in the Old City accountable the various health care institutions

Within the activities of the project “Strengthening the Roles of Women Protection Committees as Defenders of Peace and Security in the Hebron Governorate”, ADWAR Association implemented on Wednesday 27/10/2021, accountability meeting for the various health care institutions in the Old City, in the presence of representatives from each of the Directorate Central Hebron Health, Medical Relief, Doctors Without Borders, and the Women’s Protection Committee.
The decision makers accountability meetings aim to communicate with policy makers, and international institutions, and hold them accountable about the effective role in key interventions and decision-making to improve the services provided.
During the meeting, each institution talked about the health services it provides to the people of the Old City, as it is a closed area and suffers from complicated procedures to reach hospitals and health clinics.
They also discussed the mechanisms of networking and cooperation with institutions providing health services to improve and develop the health sector for the people of the Old City and women in particular.
This project comes in partnership with the Women Protection Committees and local councils, funded by Women Fund for Peace and Humanitarian Action.
