Roles For Social Change Association-ADWAR represented by the general director d.Sahar Yousef Al-Qawasmeh participated in the United Nations Human Rights and Economic Business Forum, held in Geneva, Switzerland, 26-28 / 11/2018.More than 2,500 participants from governments, business, community groups, civil society, investor organizations, United Nations bodies and national human rights institutions all over the world attended the forum. Dr. Sahar Yousef Al-Qawasmeh submitted a paper to clarify the reality of Palestinian women in economic empowerment programs and the experience of a ADWAR institution in this aspect. AL-Qawasmi also highlighted the most important obstacles that women in the Palestinian society faces, in terms of the political reality that is the fact that the State of Palestine is under occupation, in addition to the economic and social conditions that prevent women from achieving real and effective empowerment.
