The Palestinian Ministry of Health response to the demands of the Bedouin Women Convention Right for the Unified Women Council members

Members of the Women’s Council continue their follow-up tools in order to achieve their demands. Monday 05/09/2022, the Ministry of Health took samples of well water to be tested and to ensure the safety of the water, for microbial (bacterial) examination to determine the percentage of water contamination and to take the necessary measures later from Sterilization and cleaning of wells and chlorination of water that proves the percentage of contamination from these samples. This polluted water greatly affects the people and causes water poisoning that leads to various types of bacterial diseases that affect the health of women, children and the people.

This activity comes within the activities of the “Our Path for Prosper Future” project, in partnership with Sidra Lakia Foundation and funded by the European Union.
