The expanded participatory consultative meeting for launching the post-modern “Unified Women’s Council”

On Saturday ,10/9/2022 ADWAR Association held the expanded meeting to launch the post-modern Women’s Council in Hebron Governorate. The meeting aimed to highlight the role of “post-modern Unified Women’s Council”, in the public sphere , its turn in raising issues and the women suffering in priorities community in Hebron, due to the lack of services and its impact on gender relations within the family, the “private sphere” and the local community in the “public sphere”, in addition to strengthen the communication relations between the members of the Unified Council, breaking down barriers and identifying the needs of the targeted community.
Where the conditions of women in priority gatherings were presented with proportions and statistics, and the women’s protection committees in Masafer Bani Naim, Jala and Masafer Yatta presented their previous experiences in improving the reality of services, in addition to presenting the new women protection committee members in Khallet Al Mayyeh, Al Qawawes, Beit Marsam and Deir alasal is the reality of women and young women and the most important needs that must be worked on, as well as their expectations from the members of the Men’s Alliance in advocating their issues and following up on their needs.
In conclusion, the updated Unified Women’s Council was launched, which includes seven women’s protection committees, and men coalition members to protect and advocate for women.
