Capacity Building Training for grassroots Associations

On Sunday 2/10/2022, ADWAR Association launched the first day of capacity building training for grassroots institutions in Bethlehem, with the participation of women and young women from the Family Development Association and Nibras Youth Generations Association.
The training aims to develop the capacities of young women decision-makers and knowledge skills on how to develop policies and procedures that contribute to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women in economic participation and economic violence, and contribute to opening opportunities for economic empowerment of young women through involvement, participation and advocacy in the mechanisms of implementing advocacy campaigns that makers asked Resolution on their role in protecting women’s economic rights.
This training comes within the project “The Grassroots Network to protect the Economic Rights of Young Women and Women in Palestine”, which is implemented within the Feminist Program for Women’s Economic Rights (FEMPAWER). Funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the program is implemented by a coalition of four women’s rights organizations in the Middle East and North Africa, led by the Swedish Women’s Association for Women (KTK) with the Arab Women’s Association (AWO) from Jordan , the Research and Training for Development Action Group (CRTSA) from Lebanon, and the Palestinian Working Women’s Society for Development (PWWSD) from Palestine.
