Capacity building training for grassroots Association

ADWAR Association completed a training program to build the grassroots Association capacity in Hebron, Bethlehem, East Jerusalem and Jericho, with the participation of women and young women from grassroots associations.
Where the training aimed to develop the women capacities and knowledge skills on how to develop policies and procedures that contribute to eliminating all forms of discrimination against women in economic participation and economic violence, and contribute to opening opportunities for economic empowerment of young women through involvement, participation and advocacy in the mechanisms of implementing advocacy campaigns that question Decision makers about their role in protecting women’s economic rights.
They will be able to establish the grassroots network that in turn will work to protect the economic rights of Palestinian women and young women, reduce existing discrimination in policies, procedures and programs, and grant opportunities and privileges that eliminate economic violence.
This training comes within the project “The grassroots network to protect the economic rights of young women and women in Palestine”, which is implemented within the Feminist Program for Women’s Economic Rights (FEM PAWER).
Funded by Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the program is implemented by a coalition of four women’s rights organizations in the Middle East and North Africa, led by the Swedish Women’s Foundation for Women (KTK) with the Arab Women’s Association (AWO) from Jordan and the Research and Training for Development Action Group (CRTSA). from Lebanon, and the Palestinian Working Women’s Society for Development (PWWSD) from Palestine.
