“Wander the Land you Own It”

ADWAR Association, represented by the Administrative Director, Lana Abu Ajamiyeh, in cooperation with the Masafir Bani Naim Women’s Association Charitable Development and the Palestinian Environment Quality Authority staff, organized an environmental tourism track on Monday, 08/05/2023, in a step to enhance the participation of women in society and to learn about environmental life and work on it and the importance of the role of Women in preserving the environment, extended along the Wadi Al-Quf Reserve in the Hebron Governorate, where the path passed over a distance of 2 km through several archaeological tourist and environmental areas.
An overview of Wadi Al-Quf Reserve and the importance of preserving the environment and biodiversity was presented, in addition to an overview of the history of the region and the eras through which it passed.
The activity included a variety of events, including the participation of the civil defense staff on the procedures for public safety, lines of fire, and how to control fires, aim to activating eco-tourism west of Hebron governorate, while cleaning the area to consolidate environmental behaviors, followed by training and awareness-raising activity from the Ministry of Agriculture staff, which represented how dubal or compost works various household waste and how to benefit from it.
In the presence of the Hebron Governorate, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Red Crescent and Civil Defense teams.
