A series of workshops related to economic rights

In continuation of the workshops within the “Grassroots Network for the Protection of the Economic Rights of Young Women and Women in Palestine” project, today, Thursday, 11/5/2023, ADWAR Association implemented a workshop rich in information in cooperation with Deir al-Asal al-Fawqa Council, targeting young women and women who own small economic projects and those who want to develop their projects, This workshop aimed to educate young women and men about economic rights related to inequality or due to the application and control of discriminatory laws such as the right to inheritance, property rights, access to land, land settlement laws, lack of access to decision-making positions, discrimination in wages, working conditions and unpaid care in addition to the tax procedures for women’s projects and companies, as well as the importance of developing mechanisms.
This project come in partnership with PWWSD; within the Feminist Program for Women’s Economic Rights (FEM PAWER).
FemPAWER is managed by a consortium with Arab Women Organization (AWO) in Jordan, Collective for Research and Training on Development (CRTDA) in Lebanon, The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation (Kvinna till Kvinna) in Tunis, Palestinian Working Women Society for Development (PWWSD) in Palestine, and funded by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
