Women are Advocates and Fighters Against Economic Corruption

ADWAR Association in partnership with the Coalition for Integrity and Accountability “AMAN”, completed the second phase of the initiative “Women are Defenders and Fighters Against Economic Corruption that Undermines Democracy and the basic of a Fair and Effective Economy”. These awareness-raising sessions were implemented in various places in Hebron Governorate, in cooperation with grassroots associations, women’s clubs and cooperatives, targeting women and young women who own economic activities and individual projects and workers in the private and public sphere. These sessions aimed to educate young women and men about economic rights related to inequality in the application of economic laws, policies and procedures that have reinforced corruption and its negative impact on the reality and status of women in economic life.

So that young women and women are ready for the next stage of the initiative for free and safe expression about the impact of economic corruption on women and their suffering from the absence of fair economic policies and procedures that recognize their rights, in addition to documenting the demands and needs of women in a paper of demands to be handed over to the competent authorities.
