In-depth Discussion Session about women’s economic demands and needs

As part of “Women are Defenders and Fighters Against Economic Corruption” initiative, which comes in partnership with the Coalition for Integrity and Accountability “AMAN”, ADWAR Association implemented an in-depth dialogue session in Hebron targeting women and young women who own small and micro projects, and workers in informal work.

It aimed at free and safe expression about the impact of economic corruption on women and their suffering from the absence of fair economic policies and procedures that recognize their rights.

In addition, the demands and needs of women have been documented in a paper of demands and recommendations for the development and amendment of economic laws and any regulations and regulations issued according to it, so that it becomes gender-responsive, criminalizes forms of corruption based on gender, and ensures the practice and application of fair laws for women and achieving justice for them in Palestinian society, as it will be prepared final and handed over to the competent authorities.
