Community development initiatives entitled “From Women to Women Towards Influential Leadership”

The Women’s Protection Committees organized six community initiatives entitled “From Women to Women Towards Influencing Leadership,” in the following areas: Bireen, Yatta, Khallet Al-Mayya, Beit Al-Rush, Beit Marsam, and Wadi Al-Husayn, in the Hebron, where the initiatives aimed to enhance the community participation of less-privileged women in priority gatherings, to become stronger and more capable in raising their voices and demands, by presenting leadership models from the Women’s Protection Committees to other women and young women to learn from each other’s experiences, and also encouraging them to continue community work in order to improve the reality of services and demand their social, economic and political rights. As a human right.

This activity comes within the Civic and Community Engagement Project (CPCE), which is implemented by Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in partnership with Family Health International (FHI360) and with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
