ADWAR Association finishes Dialogue sessions to enhance Women and Youth participation in decision making positions

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR Finishes Dialogue Meetings entitled: ”Enhancing women and youth participation in decision making positions”, in the framework of the project ”Promotion of the local democracy and economic activity through the reinforcement of Palestinian Non State Actors (NSA)” in partnership with Action against Hunger ACF and Land Research Center LRC funded by European Union.

The first dialogue workshop was implemented in Hebron governorate and the second in Anata-east of Jerusalem which targeted officials from different ministries and community development organizations in targeted areas of Hebron and East Jerusalem ( Tarqumia, Suisya, Um AlKhair, AlHathaleen, Masafer Yatta,Anata). It aimed at enhancing women and youth participation in local organizations in addition to breaking the ice between these local organizations and the participating government institutions.
Mrs. Sahar Al-Kawasmeh, ADWAR general director said, “This workshop and dialogue meetings are based on the role ADWAR plays to activate women and youth participation at decision-making positions and activating the programs that should enhance women role and promote the society.
