ADWAR Implements the First Radio Episode

ADWAR implements the first radio episode entitled: Women Social and Political role in Bedouin Communities, in Marah Radio within: ( Initializing Palestinian Bedouin Communities of Hebron Governorate to Endorse Women in political participation High Decision Making Positions. The project is a part of Women empowerment in decision making positions program implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in partnership with Ministry of Local Government and Ministry of Women Affairs and non-governmental organizations and CBO’s in Bedouin and C areas. ADWAR’s general director Sahar AlKawasmeh , the head of Khashm AlDaraj local council Mr.Ibrahim AlHathaleen , and Um AlKhair local councils elections’ candidate Kefaya AlHathaleen participated in the episode. The episode aimed at awareness of Palestinian society towards the importance of Bedouin women role in political and social participation, as well as the importance of their membership in local councils in order to upgrade gender based needs and change the stereo typed negative image about women in Bedouin and C areas.
