Within the series of raising awareness activities and capacity development for Palestinian youth in partner with coalition for accountability and integrity (AMAN), Roles for Social Change Association – ADWAR held up the third meeting from the training workshops meetings which related to social accountability mechanisms for decision makers in Gender issues in presence of universities students and new graduates.
The meeting began by welcoming the training advocate Mohammad Alajlouni the attendance, and knew each trainer, introduced the attendance about the meeting axes, and the importance points which will discussed, and the importance objectives from the meeting which represented of raising the trainers capacity level about the anti- corruption and its mechanisms, then Mr. Alajlouni started talking about the legal system for anti- corruption in Palestine and anti- corruption role number 1 for the year 2005 and corruption crimes within the anti- corruption role, in addition, addressed to the independent commission qualities, such as having the juridical personality, and having the financial and administrative independence and other more qualities.
Then Mr. Alajlouni talked about persons who are subject to the law provisions, and counted them such as the chairman of the National authority, associations heads of the presidency, the president and the members of Ministry council, then he asked the trainers to write about a corruption incident they had went through on a paper, which every trainer had to explain his/her incident in front of others.
The meeting conclude talking about the corruption crimes court, complaints, and the independent commission for human rights and its terms of references.
