Roles for Social Change Association – ADWAR carried out the second meeting in presence of the lawyer Mr. Mohammad Alajlouni ADWAR’s legal consultant within the project “Bedouin women protection committee to activate 1325 resolution in Area C” in partnership with United Nations entity for Gender equality and women’s empowerment, funded by the Spanish agency for cooperation for development, and in cooperation with Woman Affairs Ministry, The Association of Woman’s Committee for social work, Colonization and Wall resistance Committee, the Independent Commotion for Human Rights, Bedouin local councils, and Ma’an network.
furthermore, in the presence of Mr. Ibraheem Alhathaleen Khashim AlDraraj local council attended the meeting along with women and men from the Bedouin committee of Um AlKhair.
the project aims to establish a protection committee from Bedouin women in order to document the violations which they face, and practice their role in maintain security and peace forming protection, and documentary committee.
Mr. Alajlouni talked about the 1325 resolution and its provisions, also about the basic issues in Palestine which 1325 resolution based on such as: Participation, protection, prevention and relief. In addition to developing their knowledge and skills about 1325 resolution.
