ADWAR continued to implement the activities of “Empowering Bedouin women in decision-making and accountability within local councils “project, funded by the Netherland representative, in partnership with local Bedouin counsels, the ministry of local government, ministry of women affairs, the General Union of Palestinian women-GUPW, Central Election Commission CEC and Ma’an T.V.
It held the fourth media episode entitled” The role of the Ministry of Women’s Affairs in support marginalized Bedouin communities, In collaboration with radio Nissa FM, in the presence of Director of complaints in Ministry of Women’s Affairs – Elham Sami-, a member of the Committee Bedouin protection -Eman Alhathalen- and ADWAR’s general director -Sahar ALkawasmeh-.
This episode aims to raise the Palestinian awareness about the important of the Bedouin women’s political participation and accountability of officials about their role in support marginalized Bedouin communities.
